Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku osob s mentálním postižením, především na seznámení s jejich kvalitou života v pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb.
Teoretická část zahrnuje terminologii užívanou v sociálních službách, popisuje mentální postižení a zákon č. 108/2006 Sb. o sociálních službách.
Praktická část práce popisuje změny v kvalitě bydlení, zaměstnání a volného času uživatelů s mentálním postižením v pobytovém zařízení sociálních služeb pohledem jeho uživatelů a zaměstnanců před a během transformace sociálních služeb.

This Bachelor's Thesis is concerned with the issue of people with mental disorders. Above all, it provides the information on the quality of their life in the residential facilities of so-cial services.
Theoretical section of the thesis covers terminology used in social services, it also deals with the actual mental disorders and Act No. 108/2006 Coll. on social services.
Practical section describes changes in the quality of housing, employment of free time of mentally ill people inhabiting the residential facilities of social services. The Changes are assessed from the perspective of its patients and employees before and during the transition of the social services.
