V současné politické situaci se stále častěji diskutuje o delikvenci mladistvých. Nejvíce jsou slyšet Ti, kdo nabízí společnosti nejčastěji rychlá, tvrdá a podle nich jediná řešení problému. Na tuto notu obvykle slyší lidé, kteří o této problematice nemají dostatečné informace a tudíž si nemohou vytvořit vlastní nezávislý názor.
Tato práce se snaží předestřít možné příčiny delikvence mladistvých a její proměny v čase. V úvodu práce rozebírám společenské proměny a vývoj kriminality po roce 1989. Další část analyzuje determinanty chování, které mají vliv na delikvenci. Následuje analýza statistických údajů souvisejících s delikvencí a popsání vývojových trendů kriminality.

In present political situation we argue about juvenile delinquency more then ever. We hear most often those, who offer usually quick, hard and according to them unique solutions. These solutions usually accept the men, who hasn´t enough informations and they aren´t able to make your own opinion.
This thesis trys to show causes of juvenile delinquency and its changes in time. At the beginning of my thesis I analyze social changes and the progress of criminality after a year 1989. Next part analyses determinants of human behavior, which exert influence up the delinquency. After that follows the analyses of statistics, which subscribe progress of criminality.
