Annotation Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku prevence a řešení šikanování na středních školách. Práce popisuje jednotlivá stádia šikany, pracuje se základními pojmy, které se vztahují k šikanování, pachatel, oběť, prostředí, kde probíhá šikana a způsob vyšetřování při různých stádiích šikany a její prevence na střední škole. Znalost těchto pojmů je velmi důležitá pro pedagogickou praxi, a to nejen na střední škole. Pro pedagogy je důležité naučit se rozlišovat jednotlivá stádia šikany, protože následné řešení a s ním spojené vyšetřování se v jednotlivých stádiích značně liší. Učitel také musí vědět, kdy šikanu ve své třídě zvládne spolu s ostatními kolegy sám a kdy je již nezbytné přivolat na pomoc odborníka. Ve druhé části práce jsem se pokusil o srovnání dvou středních škol v mém městě kde bydlím. Byla srovnávána Střední odborná škola veřejnoprávní a Gymnázium. Obě školy se liší co do počtu a pohlaví studentů, tak i ve věkovém složení pedagogického sboru. Srovnání proběhlo formou dotazníku jak mezi učiteli (byly zjišťovány znalosti o šikanování), tak i mezi žáky (spokojenost a pocity ve třídě). Výsledky výzkumu jsou platné jen pro tyto dvě školy, protože se nejedná o reprezentativní vzorek respondentů. Z výsledků jsou patrné shody u některých otázek, ale i velmi zajímavé rozdíly, které by stálo za to blíže prozkoumat.
Annotation in English The Thesis focuses on the problems of prevention and resolution of bullying in high schools. The Thesis describes separate stages of bullying, works with key terminology that relates to bullying, describes the offender, the victim, the surrounding where bullying takes place and the process of investigating bullying in its different stages and its prevention in high school. Knowledge of these concepts is very important in educational experience, and not only in high school. It is very important for teachers to be able to distinguish between different stages of bullying as the resolution and investigation can differ quite considerably for different stages. Teacher also has to judge when bullying in his or her class can be dealt with by himself or herself or together with other colleagues or when it is necessary to search help from a professional. In the second part of the thesis I tried to compare two high schools in my home town. The Comparison was made between public high school and grammar school. Both schools differ in number and sex of the students, as well as in the age structure of the teachers. The Comparison was made by way of questionnaire given to teachers (knowledge of bullying was investigated), as well as to students (satisfaction and feelings in class were investigated). The findings from this investigation are relevant only for these two schools as they do not represent a typical sample of respondents. From the findings there are evident consistencies in some questions, but also very interesting differences which would be worth investigating more closely.
