Bakalářská práce na téma ?Bezdomovectví v návaznosti na výkon služby u Policie České republiky? se zabývá problematikou, která je sice velmi aktuální, avšak doposud jí nebyla věnována téměř žádná pozornost badatelů. Práce vymezuje základní pojmy, které se k tomuto tématu váží ? pojmy ?bezdomovectví?, ?bezdomovec? a ?sociální vyloučení?. Dále se zabývá příčinami a důsledky bezdomovectví, jakož i možnostmi sociální inkluze bezdomovců. Další část práce je věnována činnosti Policie České republiky se zřetelem na problematiku bezdomovectví. Pozornost je tu zaměřena na řešení deliktů bezdomovců, pátrání po nich a na problematiku bezdomovců v ohrožení zdraví a života. Empirická část práce sleduje problematiku bezdomovectví s akcentem na činnosti policie v Brně a okolí.

The bachelor degree thesis entitled ?Homelessness in Relation to the Service with the Police of the Czech Republic? deals with the issue which is a topic of the day but so far it has not been given nearly any attention by scientists. The thesis gives a definition of the concepts associated with this topic ? those of ?homelessness?, ?homeless person? and ?social exclusion?. Further on, the thesis is dedicated to the causes and consequences of homelessness, as well as to the possibilities of social inclusion of homeless persons. The next part of the thesis deals with the activities of the Police of the Czech Republic with a view to the homelessness issue. Attention is given to settlement of offences committed by homeless persons, search for homeless persons, and to homeless persons in danger to health and life. The empiric part of the thesis is focused on the issue of homelessness putting an emphasis on the activities pursued by the Police in Brno and its vicinity.
