Tématem této bakalářské práce je bambucké máslo a možnosti jeho využití v kosmetice. Úvodní část je věnována postupům získání a výroby bambuckého másla, dále pak historii i současné situaci na světovém trhu. V dalších kapitolách se práce věnuje charakteristice bambuckého másla, jeho složení, vlastnostem a obsahu biologicky aktivních látek. Závě-rečná část práce pojednává o vlivu této kosmetické ingredience na pokožku a jsou zde uve-deny některé receptury využívající bambucké máslo.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the shea butter and its possible application in cosmetic products. The introductory part of the thesis focuses on production methods, history and the current situation on the world trade. Following chapters deal with characterization of shea butter, its composition, properties and biologically active components. The final part discusses the influence of shea butter on the skin and some recipes using shea butter are described.
