Rozebírá charakteristické rysy lidských ras v návaznosti na fototypy kůže. Znalost fototypu kůže u každého jedince patří mezi základní prvky prevence před ultrafialovým zářením, o kterém je pojednáno z hlediska účinku a ochrany.
Stimulace a potlačení pigmentace je zmíněno v rámci kosmetických metod.

Skin is naturally protected against ultraviolet radiation by melanin pigment. Artificial protection is either active or passive. This bachelor thesis introduces the melanin production process called melanogenesis, including disorders and deviations.
The thesis also focuses on characteristics of human races in connection with skin phototypes. The knowledge of the skin phototype of each individual is one of the basic elements of prevention against ultraviolet radiation, which is discussed in terms of effect and protection.
Stimulation and suppression of pigmentation is mentioned in cosmetic methods.
