Literární rešerše popisuje ultrafialové záření a jeho účinky na kůži. Na tuto problematiku navazuje charakteristika fyzikálních a přírodních UV filtrů používaných v ochranných pří-pravcích. Praktická část byla věnována stanovení účinnosti kosmetických formulací proti slunění s pongamolem a ZnO/nano ZnO metodou in vitro před a po vystavení UV záření. Sledované ochranné parametry testovaných formulací vykazovaly nižší ochranu, než byla očekávána. Jejich efektivnost byla závislá na zvolených UV filtrech a jejich vzájemném poměru. Vlastnosti navržených formulací se zlepšovaly se zvyšující se koncentrací UV filtrů. Součástí experimentu bylo i hodnocení organoleptických vlastností formulovaných přípravků. Bylo zjištěno, že mezi testovanými formulacemi existují statisticky významné rozdíly v barvě, textuře, roztíratelnosti, vstřebatelnosti a preferenci.

Literary research describes ultraviolet radiation and its effects on the skin. This is followed by the characterization of physical and natural UV filters used in protective preparations. The practical part was devoted to the determination of efficacy of cosmetic sunscreening formulations with pongamol and ZnO/nano ZnO by method in vitro before and after expo-sure to UV radiation. The observed protective parameters of the formulations tested showed less protection than was expected. Their effectiveness depended on the selected UV filters and their relative proportions. The properties of the proposed formulations im-proved with the increasing concentration of UV filters. The evaluation of the organoleptic properties of formulated products was part of the experiment. It has been found that there are statistically significant differences in color, texture, scatteriness, absorbability and pre-ference among the tested formulations.
