Annotation Tato práce se zabývá analýzou diskurzu Amerických prezidentských debat, které se konaly v roce 2012. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Tato práce se snaží odpovědět na otázku, zdali jsou lingvistické prostředky, shrnuté v teoretické části, uplatňovány v debatách a který z prezidentských kandidátů využívá tyto prostředky efektivněji.
Annotation in English The thesis analyses the discourse of American presidential debates that were held in 2012. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. This thesis tries to answer the question whether the linguistic features, characterized in the theoretical part, are used in debates and which of the two presidential candidates use these features more effectively.
