Bakalářská práce nazvaná ''Postavení a úkoly sociální práce v systému zacházení s odsouzenými ve Věznici Příbram‘‘ se zabývá vlastní sociální prací poskytovanou vězněným osobám v rámci specifického prostředí věznice. Jsou zde uvedeny hlavní mezníky definování pojmu sociální práce a postupný vývoj sociální práce ve vězeňství. Rovněž je zde shrnuta vlastní činnost sociálního pracovníka v rámci Věznice Příbram. Součástí bakalářské práce je i spolupráce sociálního pracovníka se státními i nestátními organizacemi a institucemi jako jedné z forem péče o odsouzené, s cílem začlenit tyto osoby po propuštění z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody do civilního života.

Baccalaureate work ''The role and tasks of the social work in the system
of treating convicts in the Prison in Příbram‘‘ deals with the actual social work provided to convict people in the specific surroundings of the prison. There are stated the main landmarks of defining the term social work and gradual development of the social work in prisons. There is also resumed the actual activity of a social worker in the Prison in Příbram. This work contains as well a description of cooperation between a social worker and governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions as one of the forms of treating convicts. Its aim is to intergrate these persons after their release from their confinement to civilian life.
