Annotation V současnosti jsou hledány alternativní zdroje výživy jak pro lidskou populaci, tak i pro hospodářská zvířata a velmi perspektivně se jeví řasy. Řasy jsou v dnešní době označovány za funkční potraviny. To znamená, že vyjma výživové hodnoty vykazují vybrané látky i zdraví prospěšné účinky. Je ale nutné zjistit, zda i komerčně dostupné produkty z řas a sinic obsahují dostatečné množství vybraných biologicky aktivních látek jako je tomu u řas čerstvých. Doktorská práce sleduje stanovení vybraných biologicky aktivních látek sladkovodních a mořských řas s cílem zjistit jejich chemické složení. Po provedení veškerých analýz budou vybrány vhodné druhy sladkovodních a mořských řas dle jejich možného použití pro potravinářské účely.
Annotation in English Searching for alternative sources of nourishment for the human population as well as for livestock is a topical issue and algae appear to be a very promising one. Nowadays, algae are referred to as functional foods. This means that not only did they perform nutritional value of selected substances, but also have beneficial health effects. However, it is necessary to determine whether commercially available products made from algae contain a sufficient quantity of selected biologically active agents compared with fresh algae. Ph.D. thesis deals with determination of selected biologically active substances of freshwater and marine algae to clarify their chemical composition. After analyzes being performed, appropriate species of freshwater and marine algae will be selected according to their potential use in the food industry.
