Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhotovení návrhu zlepšení hospodaření ve vybraných obcích Mikroregionu Ostrožsko Veselsko pomocí socioekonomické analýzy, analýzy hospodaření a dotazníkového šetření. Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí.
První část se zabývá literární rešerší, která se týká vymezení systému veřejné správy, obce a jejích orgánů, dále je podrobně vysvětleno hospodaření obcí, objasnění specifik účetnictví obcí a monitoring hospodaření obcí.
V druhé části jsou představeny obce Mikroregionu Ostrožsko Veselsko, provedena socioekonomická analýza a analýza hospodaření za poslední tři roky.
Závěrečná část je nejprve věnována dotazníkovému šetření u vybraných obcí a poté je vypracován návrh na zlepšení hospodaření těchto obcí a poté aplikace tohoto návrhu.

The thesis is focused on the making of draft of the improvement of economy in selected municipalities of Microregion Ostrožsko - Veselsko using socio-economic analysis and analysis of economic and the questionnaire survey. This thesis consists of three parts.
The first part deals with literature review, which relates to the definition of public administration, municipality and its institutions, it is also explained the finances of municipalities in detail, clarification of the specifics of accounting of municipals and the monitoring of municipal finances.
The second part presents the municipality of Microregion Ostrožsko - Veselsko, a socio-economic analysis and the analysis of economy of the past three years.
The final part is at the first devoted to the questionnaire survey of selected municipalities and then to make suggestions to improve the economy of these villages and then the application of this draft.
