Práce Globalizace mění náš život postihuje co nejširší charakteristiky tohoto tématu. Za cíl této práce jsem si vytkla poukázat na některé vývojové směry globalizace, dále její přínos i negativní stránky pro naši společnost, historii a současnost globalizace. Dále potom na působení globalizace v oblasti cestovního ruchu a oblastech úzce propojených s cestovním ruchem a v neposlední řadě na některé hlavní myšlenky ve vybraných dílech Anthonyho Giddense zaměřené zejména na sociální kritiku globalizace nahlíženou z různých hledisek. Nemohu než souhlasit s výše zmíněným autorem, neboť globalizace skutečně mění náš život.

This Bachelor’s theses titled ‘‘Globalization Reshaping our Lives‘‘ covers wide-ranging characteristics of this theme. My object was to point out the evolutionary trends of globalization as well as the positive and negative sides of the globalization for our society, the history and nowadays of globalization. I focused also on the globalization effects on tourism and referred to the selected ideas of Antony Giddens’s literary works, which concentrates on the social critique with different approaches to the problem. I have to agree with above mentioned author, that Globalization is really reshaping our lives.
