Annotation Cílem této bakalářské práce je, identifikovat znaky a zdroje francouzského a amerického naturalismu. Vliv této filozofie sahal za hranice literatury. Další kapitoly se věnují životu a tvorbě dvou představitelů Émile Zoly a Jacka Londona. Dále jsou popsány sociální problémy, jimiž se autoři ve svých dílech zabývali. Ty pak jsou demonstrovány na úryvcích vybraných románů.
Annotation in English The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the features and the sources of French and American naturalism. The influence of this philosophy moved beyond the border of literature. The next chapter discusses the life and the writing of two representatives Émile Zola and Jack London. Social issues both writers were concerned with are described and demonstrated on the extracts of chosen novels.
