Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je evaluace letních dětských táborů pořádaných Domem dětí a mládeže v Kyjově v roce 2012. v teoretické části se zabývám otázkou trávení volného času dětí a mládeže v minulosti a v současné době. Blíže specifikují práci institucí zabývajících se výchovou dětí a mládeže ve volném čase a hlavně organizací letních dětských táborů. V další části specifikuji výchovnou činnost Domu dětí a mládeže v Kyjově ve školním roce 2011 až 2012 a podrobně se věnuji organizaci letních dětských táborů.
v praktické části diplomové práce se zabývám průzkumným šetřením, které jsem zaměřila na zjišťování míry spokojenosti dětí s celkovou organizací a programem jimi vybraných druhů tábora.

The main theme of the thesis is the evaluation of the summer camps organized by the House Children and Youth in Kyjov in 2012. The theoretical part deals with the question of leisure activities for children and youth in the past and present time. More closely I specify the work of institutions dealing with the education of children and youth in their free time and especially the organization of the summer capms for children. In the next section I specify the educational activities of House Children and Youth in Kyjov in school year 2011 - 2012 and I focused in detail to the organization of the summer camps for childeren.
In the practical part of the thesis is devoted to exploratory survey which was aimed at ascertaining the degree of satisfaction with the overall organization of children and their program of selected camp.
