Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem spolupráce obcí se soukromým sektorem v prostějovském regionu. Cílem práce je provést analýzu současného stavu a navrhnout možnosti na zefektivnění této spolupráce. Teoretická část popisuje základní pojmy z oblasti veřejné správy a soukromého sektoru, dále objasňuje teoretická východiska spolupráce. Praktická část analyzuje aktuální situaci a zkoumá potřeby jednotlivých obcí a podnikatelů. V práci byla použita metoda řízeného rozhovoru se starosty obcí a zástupci podnikatelů v prostějovském regionu. Na základě získaných poznatků byla sestavena SWOT analýza a navrhnuta opatření napomáhající dalšímu rozvoji aktivit vzájemné spolupráce.

My thesis deals with the topic of cooperation of municipalities with the private sector in the Prostějov region.The aim of the work is to analyze the contemporary situation and suggest some possibilities of improvement of this cooperation. The theoretical part describes main terms of the public administration and private sector, thenceforth clarifies theoretical bases of the cooperation. The practical part analyzes the current situation and explore the needs of particular municipalities and businessmen. In the thesis was used a method of directed interview with the mayors of the municipalities and representatives of businessmen in the Prostějov region. Based on the gained findings a SWOT analyzes was made and suggested some precautions helping next developing of the reciprocal cooperation.
