Tématem bakalářské práce jsou Specifika vojenské kartografie a využiti prostorových dat v geografických informačních systémech. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, z části teoretické a části praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmy kartografie, stručnou historií kartografie, specifika vojenské kartografie. Závěr teoretické práce je věnován problematice produktů geografického zabezpečení. V praktické části jsou krátce představeny geografické informační systémy, ukázky map a zhotoveny mapové kompozice, pomocí zvoleného GIS, které demonstrují specifika vojenské kartografie.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the specifics of military cartography and the use of spatial data in geographic information systems. The work consists of two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with concepts of cartography, a brief history of cartography, specifics of military cartography. The conclusion of the theoretical work is devoted to the issue of geographical security products. In the practical part, geographic information systems are briefly introduced, examples of maps and map compositions are made using the chosen GIS, which demonstrate the specifics of military cartography.
