Předmětem této bakalářské práce je problematika intimní hygieny ženy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části práce je popsána anatomie ženského reprodukčního systému, historie intimní hygieny a všechna vývojová období ženy v souvislosti s intimní hygienou. Další částí teoretické práce je i kapitola zaměřená na problémy, které přivodí nedostatečná intimní hygiena u novorozených holčiček. Nedílnou součástí je i edukace matek porodní asistentkou, obzvlášť na novorozeneckém oddělení a oddělení šestinedělí.
Prvním cílem této práce je především zjistit informovanost novopečených matek, jak se správně starat o zevní genitál svých dcer a tím zároveň předcházet typickým gynekologickým obtížím, úzce spojených s tímto obdobím. Druhým cílem je zjistit znalost matek o následcích nedodržování intimní hygieny u svých dcer. V praktické části jsou popsány výsledky výzkumu, který byl proveden kvantitativní technikou dotazníkového šetření. Výzkum byl proveden na oddělení šestinedělí a novorozeneckém oddělení Gynekologicko-porodnického oddělení KNTB Zlín. Výsledky, které byly získány, jsou shrnuty do tabulek a grafů s komentářem. V diskuzi a závěru jsou tyto výsledky rozebrány.

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the issue of women's intimate hygiene. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes anatomy of female reproductive system, history of intimate hygiene and all developmental stages of a woman in connection with the intimate hygiene. A big part of this chapter is focused on issues causing a lack of intimate hygiene in newborn girls. As well as general education of mothers and midwives, particularly at the neonatal department and the department of con-finement.
The first goal of this thesis is to detect an amount of acknowledgement of new mothers how to properly care for their daughters external genitalia and thereby prevent the typical gynecological problems, closely associated with this period. The second objective is to determine the knowledge of mothers about the consequences of non-intimate hygiene for their daughters. In the practical part are described the results of the research, which was conducted a quantitative questionnaire survey. The research was conducted at the Department of postpartum and neonatal department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department KNTB Zlín. The results obtained are summarized in charts and graphs including commentary. The outcome of a above is discussed in the conclusion of this thesis.
