Bakalářská práce se zabývá podporou osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou v Domovech se zvláštním režimem. Teoretická část práce popisuje Alzheimerovu chorobu, charakteristiku onemocnění a změny, které důsledkem nemoci nastávají. V práci jsou také popsány potřeby osob s touto nemocí a sociální služba, která je této cílové skupině poskytována.
Praktická část práce se zabývá výzkumem, který byl zaměřen na personál pečující o osoby s Alzheimerovou chorobou v zařízení. Výzkum probíhal pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a cílem bylo zmapovat názory personálu týkající se sociální podpory klientů.

This thesis is about the assistance of people suffering under the Alzheimer disease in homes with special care. The theoretical part describes the Alzheimer disease, its characteristics and the changes resulting from the disease. The Thesis also describes the needs of people with this disease and the social service which is provided to this target group.
The practical part deals with the research, which was aimed at the staff who cares about people with Alzheimer's disease in the facility. The research was conducted through semistructured interviews and the aim was to map the opinion of the staff on the social assistance of the clients.
