Tématem bakalářské práce je informovanost osob v produktivním věku o příspěvku na bydlení. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy vztahující se k problematice bydlení, úlohu státu v oblasti bydlení a věnuje se bezdomovectví, jako negativnímu dopadu ztráty bydlení. Představuje státní sociální podporu, jako součást systému sociálního zabezpečení v České republice a současný systém dávek státní sociální podpory. Seznamuje s pojmy, se kterými státní sociální podpora výrazně pracuje a s orgány činnými v této oblasti. Příspěvek na bydlení je stěžejní a poslední kapitola teoretické části bakalářské práce. Předkládá samotný vývoj příspěvku na bydlení v České republice a objasňuje nárok na výplatu příspěvku na bydlení a řízení o přiznání této dávky. Praktická část je zaměřena na obce do 5000 obyvatel v regionu Lanškrounsko a prezentuje a předkládá vyhodnocení o informovanosti osob v produktivním věku o příspěvku na bydlení žijící v této oblasti. Formou dotazníkového šetření je zjišťována informovanost na základě znalostí respondentů z oblasti dávek státní sociální podpory a poté konkrétně z oblasti žádání, posuzování nároku a vyplácení příspěvku na bydlení.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the awareness of people in the age of productivity about the housing allowance. The theoretical part defines the basic terms connected with the topic of housing, the state's role in the area of housing, it deals with homelessness as a negative impact of losing a home. It introduces the state social support as a part of the social security system in the Czech Republic and the current system of the social benefits. It pre-sents the terms which are used by state social support and with the offices active in this area. The housing allowance is the core and last chapter in the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis. It presents the actual development of the housing allowance in the Czech Repub-lic and it clarifies the claim for the payout of the housing allowance and the process of claiming the benefit. The practical part is focused on towns with up to 5000 inhabitants in the region of Lanškrounsko and it presents and introduces the evaluation of the rate of awareness of the people in the age of productivity living in this area about the housing allowance. Using the questionnaire method, is research the awareness based on the respondents' knowledge in the area of state social support and subsequently in the area of claiming, claim assessment, and payment of the housing allowance.
