Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se zaměřila na téma: ''Poslání - úloha učitele v prevenci domácího násilí u dětí a mládeže‘‘. Považuji za důležité, aby se učitelé blíže seznámili s problematikou domácího násilí, dokázali rozpoznat případy týraných dětí, uměli na ně včas a správně reagovat a tím dětem pomoci.
V práci jsem definovala pojem domácí násilí, jeho znaky a formy, věnovala jsem se vývoji dětí v rodinách zasažených domácím násilím, vypracovala jsem metodiku pro učitele při řešení domácího násilí, ale především jsem si kladla za cíl, aby se tato práce stala malým příspěvkem jak pro prevenci, tak i pro nikdy nekončící snahu zmírnit následky násilného chování vůči dětem a mládeži.

In my thesis I focused on the subject Mission - the role of teacher in the prevention of domestic violence with children and teenagers. I consider it important for teachers to acquaint themselves closer with the issue of domestic violence. They should be able to recognize the cases of maltreated children and be capable of an accurate and early reaction in order to help them.
In the thesis I defined the term domestic violence, its attributes and forms and I paid attention to the development of children from families that were affected by domestic violence. I came up with a methodology for teachers who deal with this problem. However, first and foremost I set myself the ask of contributing by means of this thesis to the never-ending attempt to reduce the consequences of maltreatment of children and teenagers.
