Annotation Tato bakalářská práce mapuje a analyzuje uplynulých jedenáct let současné války v Afghánistánu.
Annotation in English This bachelor's thesis charts and analyzes the past eleven years of the ongoing war in Afghanistan. It explores the events that lead up to the war, and the strategies used. Moreover, it documents the various achievements, as well as failures of the coalition forces during Operation Enduring Freedom. It also deals with the non-military aspects of the Afghan conflict, and points out the importance of reconstructing the war-torn country. Ultimately, this thesis focuses on the issues connected with the presence of coalition troops in Afghanistan and the potential consequences of their premature withdrawal.
