Annotation Bakalářská práce pojednává o možnostech sterilizace plastů využívaných v medicíně. V první části jsou zpracovány podmínky, za kterých sterilizace probíhá. Druhá část je věno-vaná problematice metod, jak během sterilizace, tak i po ní. Práce také srovnává vlivy ste-rilizačních metod a jejich negativní dopad na člověka a okolí, ale především na sterilizovaný materiál. Rovněž je také popsán vliv sterilizace na konkrétně vybrané polymerní materiály v současnosti používané ve zdravotnictví.
Annotation in English Bachelor thesis is deals with current methods in sterilization of plastics used in medicine. The first part is focused on nowadays sterilization methods and applied conditions. The second part is devoted to issues in sterilization techniques with respect to materials during and after sterilization. The work also compares the effect of sterilization methods and their negative impact on humans and environment, primarily on the sterilized materials. In this thesis the effect of sterilization to selected polymeric materials currently used in medicine is also described.
