Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou péče o pacienty odlišné kultury během hospitalizace. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje čtyři kapitoly, ve kterých popisujeme základní pojmy a modely multikulturního ošetřovatelství, specifika vybraných menšin (romské, muslimské, vietnamské a ukrajinské kultury) a role sestry v péči o pacienty odlišné kultury. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zdali a jak se liší péče o pacienty odlišné kultury během hospitalizace. Hlavní cíl byl naplněn prostřednictvím pěti dílčích cílů. Pro praktickou část práce jsme zvolili metodu kvantitativního šetření, technikou dotazníku. Zjistili jsme, že péče o pacienty odlišné kultury se liší v mnoha ohledech, a to nejen v komunikaci, ale také ve skladbě stravy, zvyklostech pacienta a z toho vyplývajících požadavků na sestry apod.

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of hospitalisation care for patients deriving from different cultures. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section contains four chapters describing primary concepts and models of multicultural nursing, the specifics of selected minorities (Roma, Muslim, Vietnamese and Ukrainian cultures), and the role of nurses in caring for patients of different cultures. The primary objective of the Bachelor's thesis was to determine whether and how does the hospitalisation care of patients of different cultures differ. The thesis' main objective was fulfilled through five sub-goals. For the practical part of the work, the author chose to apply quantitative research and questionnaires. The author has determined that the care of patients of different cultures differs in many respects, not only in communication but also in the diet, the patients' habits, the resulting requirements on the nurses, etc.
