Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou rizikového chování dětí na internetu a zjištěním, jakou roli hrají rodiče při prevenci takového chování. Teoretická část se věnuje roli rodiče ve vztahu k socializaci dítěte a výchovným stylům v rodině. Charakterizuje rizikové chování dětí na internetu včetně vymezení hrozeb a věnuje se pravidlům chování na internetu, rodičovské mediaci a podpoře rozvoje digitálních znalostí a dovedností rodičů. Praktická část kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován pomocí dotazníkového šetření, zkoumá způsob komunikace rodiče s dítětem, jeho odpovědnost a povědomí o aktivitách dítěte na internetu, jeho obavy z rizik internetu, zda jim předchází a zda má dostatečné informace týkající se bezpečnosti dítěte na internetu. Práce odráží postoj rodičů k této problematice.

This bachelor thesis deals with issues relating to the risky behaviour of children when they are using the internet and with identifying the role that parents play in preventing such behaviour. The theoretical section focuses on the role of the parent in establishing the social awareness of the child, and on parenting methods in families. This section defines risky behaviour by children on the internet, including the identification of possible threats posed by the internet and discusses rules of internet safety, as well as the development of parental mediatiton and computer skills. The practical section of the quantitative research, which has been effected through the use of questionnaires, investigates how a parent communicates with a child, their responsibility and awareness of their child's activities on the internet, their concerns about the risks posed by the internet, whether they are able to prevent risks and if they have sufficient information regarding the safety of the child when it uses the internet. The thesis reflects the stance of parents in regard to this problem.
