Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zaměstnávání osob s duševním onemocněním. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje tři hlavní kapitoly. První kapitola popisuje pojetí sociální pedagogiky od jejího vývoje po vymezení jako samostatného vědního oboru. Dále popisuje sociálního pedagoga jeho uplatnění při práci s osobami duševně nemocnými a nakonec i jeho kompetence. Druhá kapitola vymezuje pojem duševní zdraví a duševní nemoc. Poté odborně popisuje vybraná duševní onemocnění a péči o klienta. Třetí kapitola podává základní informace o zaměstnávání osob s duševním onemocněním včetně legislativního ukotvení. Tyto kapitoly poskytnou čtenáři přiblížení problematiky zaměstnávání osob s duševním onemocněním a pomohou při lepší orientaci bakalářskou prací. Po teoretické části následuje praktická část, která je zaměřená na dotazníkové šetření. Cílem praktické části je zjistit názory studentů sociální pedagogiky na zaměstnávání osob s duševním onemocněním.

The bachelor thesis explores the issue of employing people with mental diseases. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of three main chapters. The first describes the conception of social pedagogy from its birth to the point when it becomes an individual discipline. Further, the chapter describes a sociological teacher, their vocational usage with mentally ill people, and lastly their competence. The second chapter clarifies the terms mental health and mental disease, and afterward it professionally describes certain mental diseases, and how to care about a patient. The third chapter gives basic information related to employment of people with mental diseases including the legislative issue. These three chapters are to give the reader a close look at the problem of employing people with mental illnesses, and help him/her to better understand the practical part of this bachelor thesis. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which is focused on a questionnaire. The aim of this section is to ascertain the opinions of the social pedagogy students about employing people with mental diseases.
