Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou návykových látek z pohledu zákona. Popisuje legislativní omezení nakládání s omamnými látkami a nastiňuje možné řešení protidrogové prevence. Práce pojednává o psychoaktivních látkách vyvolávajících závislost, faktorech vzniku látkové (drogové) závislosti a typech závislosti. V praktické části analyzuje situaci na drogové scéně v České republice, vyhodnocuje pachatele podle věku, pohlaví a národnosti. Porovnává drogovou trestnou činnost v krajích republiky za rok 2004, popisuje nejčastěji zneužívané látky a množství zadržených látek. Sleduje trendy a tendence vývoje drogové scény.

The Bachelor project concerns the problems of addictive substances from the point of view of the law. It describes legislative limitations of handling the narcotics and suggests possible solutions of the anti-drug prevention. The project deals with the psychoactive substances causing addiction, factors of the drug addiction establishment and types of addiction. In the practical part, it analyses the drug situation in the Czech Republic and evaluates the culprits according to their age, gender and nationality. It compares drug criminality in the regions of the republic in 2004, describes the most frequently used drugs and the amount of seized drugs. It monitors the trends and tendencies of the development of the drug situation.
