My Master thesis is engaged in creation of programme documents at the region level. Pro-gramme documents of the Zlin Region are analysed in this thesis. The work is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part the basic theoretic k-nowledge about programming is described. In the practical part of this work the Zlin region is characterized and there is defined also position of the Zlin region among the other regi-ons of the Czech republic. The description of the programme documents of the Zlin region follows. At the end there are the analyses of this programme documents and also conclusi-ons, which resulted for the Zlin region and its development from these analyses.
