Základním cílem této práce je vytvořit návrh strategie rozvoje Gymnázia, Krnov, příspěv-kové organizace a navrhnout katalog několika rozvojových projektů.
Úvod práce je věnován strategickému plánování. Nejdříve je tento pojem definován obecně a jsou popsány jeho jednotlivé aspekty. Posléze se práce zaměřuje na téma strategického plánování ve veřejném sektoru a efektivity jeho fungování. Závěr teoretické části popisuje strukturu školského systému a vysvětluje pojem regionálního školství. Výše zmíněné po-znatky jsou využity v praktické části, která ve své první polovině představuje analýzu vněj-šího a vnitřního prostředí Krnovského gymnázia. Takto zjištěné poznatky jsou shrnuty formou SWOT analýzy, jenž představuje základní východiska pro následující návrh strate-gie rozvoje. Závěr této diplomové práce je věnován návrhům opatření a katalogu projektů vhodných k dosažení specifických a generálních cílů rozvojové strategie.

The aim of this thesis is to propose the Gymnázium, Krnov, příspěvková organizace strate-gy of development and create a catalogue of few developmental projects.
Introduction is devoted to strategic planning. At the beginning it defines the term generaly and then it gives short information about its various aspects. Next the thesis focuses on the topic of strategic planning in the public sector and the effectiveness of its functioning. At the end of the theoretical part, there is an description of the school system structure and clarification of the regional education concept. All the knowledge from above is applied in the practical part of the thesis, which presents an analysis of the Krnovs Gymnasium exter-nal and internal environment. This analysis findings are summarized in a SWOT analysis, which represents the basic assumptions for the following developmnet strategy suggestion. The conclusion of this thesis is devoted to a measures suggestions and to a catalog of pro-jects, which are suiteble to help achieve the specific an general objectives of the develop-mnet strategy.
