Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem domácího násilí. V první kapitole jsou uvedeny znaky domácího násilí, formy a následky a postoj společnosti. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na aktéry, jako jsou agresoři, oběti a senioři jako oběti domácího násilí. Ve třetí kapitole je popsán postup Policie České republiky při kontaktu s domácím násilím. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na prevenci. Součástí této kapitoly je vyhodnocení vlastního dotazníkového výzkumu.
Cílem práce je přispět k lepšímu poznání charakteru domácího násilí a tím také k účinné ochraně před domácím násilím.

This thesis deals with the domestic violence matter. The features, forms, consequences and the attitude of the society towards the domestic violence are introduced in the first chapter. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of people involved, like aggressors and victims with a special focus on seniors as victims of the domestic violence. The next chapter describes the procedure of the Police of the Czech Republic when dealing with the domestic violence. The last chapter focuses on the prevention issue. Part of this chapter is formed by the original questionnaire-survay data evaluation.
The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the better understanding of the domestic violence nature therethrough help to the effective protection against the domestic violence.
