Bakalářská práce pojednává o sociální službě chráněné bydlení, ve které se zaměříme na názory sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách na osoby s mentální retardací. V teoretické části se seznámíme s historií sociálních služeb a vymezíme pojem mentální retardace a její členění. Dále se budeme zabývat popisem a náplní práce sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách a jejich kompetencemi. V praktické části popíšeme kvalitativní výzkum, kde použijeme metodu polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Cílem výzkumu je co nejobjektivněji posoudit názory pracovníků na sociální službu chráněného bydlení a zhodnotit její významnost pro osoby s mentální retardací a pro společnost.

Bachelors work deals with the social service sheltered housing, in which we aim at the contentions of the social workers and the workers in the social servises at the persons with mental retardation. In the theoretic part we take up with the history of the social services and define the term mental retardation and its division. We will further deal with the desciption and content of the work of social workers and workers in social services and their competency. In the practical part we describe the qualitative research, where we will use the method of half- structured conversation. The aim of the research is most objectively as sen the contentions of the workers at the social service its relavance for the dersonn with the mental retardation and for society.
