Bakalářská práce "Neziskové organizace v životě člověka s mentálním postižením" pojednává o tom, jakou roli zaujímají neziskové organizace v životě člověka s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část je zaměřena na objasnění pojmů mentální retardace a mentální postižení. Zabývá se také příčinami vzniku tohoto postižení, vymezuje klasifikaci mentální retardace a charakterizuje jednotlivé stupně postižení. Dále se věnuje socializaci osob s mentálním postižením, s čímž souvisí i možnosti vzdělávání a pracovního začlenění. Teoretická část se taktéž věnuje neziskovému sektoru a charakteristice konkrétní neziskové organizace IZAP Slunečnice Zlín, kde byl prováděn výzkum obsažený v praktické části. Praktická část tedy pojednává o výzkumu, který zahrnuje hlavní výzkumný cíl a tedy i hlavní výzkumnou otázku, dále dílčí výzkumné otázky, druh výzkumu, výzkumný vzorek, metodu výzkumu, metodu analýzy dat a samotnou analýzu a interpretaci zjištěných výsledků.

Bachelor thesis "Non-profit Organizations in the Life of a Person with Mental Disability" discusses the role of not-for-profit organization in the life of people who have intellectual disabilities. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the definition of mental retardation and mental disabilities. It also deals the causes of this handicap, mental retardation classification and characterizes the different degrees of disability. It follows up the socialization of mentally handicapped people which is connected with the possibilities of education and working life. Moreover, the theoretical part deals with the non-profit sector and characteristics of a specific non-profit organization called IZAP - Slunečnice Zlín where research was realized. It is described in the practical part. The practical part is about the research that includes the main research goal and therefore the main research question, as well as research sub - questions, the kind of research, research sample, methods of research, data analysis method and analysis itself and interpretation of the results.
