Diplomová práce vystihuje specifické podmínky specializovaného oddělení pro sexuální devianty, kteří mají zájem o sexuologickou léčbu v podmínkách výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Popisuje nejen práci odborného personálu, vznik specializovaného oddělení a směry v léčení sexuálních deviací, ale seznamuje čtenáře se sexualitou, normálním sexuálním chováním i sexuálními deviacemi a vlastní léčbou.
V průzkumné části diplomové práce je srovnávána skupina sexuálních deviantů. Dále zjišťuje, které vnější faktory mohou ovlivnit jedince ke spáchání trestného činu, ale také hledá ty podněty, které mohou jedince usměrnit a pomoci jim změnit svůj postoj k vlastní deviaci. Srovnání se týká jejich trestné činnosti páchané i pod vlivem návykové látky, rodinného prostředí, dosaženého vzdělání, ale i přístup k plnění programu zacházení ve výkonu trestu. Jsou zkoumány také názory na pobyt ve specializovaném oddělení a jeho přínos pro změnu vlastních postojů.

Thesis describes the specific conditions of a specialized department for sexual deviants, who are interested in sexological treatment in terms of prison. It describes not only the work of professional staff, the creation of specialized departments and guidelines for the treatment of sexual deviation, but presents the reader with sexuality, normal sexual behavior and sexual deviance and self-treatment.
In the exploratory part of thesis is to compare a group of sexual deviants, and notes that external factors may affect the individual to commit a crime, but also those looking for initiatives that may focus the individual and help them change their attitude towards their own deviations. Comparison of their crime and under the influence of addictive substances, family, educational attainment, but also access to the program in the treatment of the sentence. They also examined the views of the residence in a specialized department and its contribution to change their attitudes.
