Předkládaná práce se věnuje trestu obecně prospěšných prací, a to se zaměřením na instituce, ve kterých odsouzení tento uložený trest vykonávají. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje na základě odborné literatury základní pojmy z oblasti trestního práva, alternativních trestů a restorativní justice. Dále se věnuje institutu trestu obecně prospěšných prací, Probační a mediační službě ČR a samotným institucím, které poskytují místa k výkonu trestu obecně prospěšných prací. Empirická část je zaměřena na instituce,u nichž odsouzení trest obecně prospěšných prací vykonávají. Pomocí dotazníku zjišťuje jejich názor, který poté interpretuje a v závěru nastiňuje přínos trestu obecně prospěšných prací z pohledu těchto institucí.

The thesis is dedicated to the community service sentence with special emphasis on institutions, at which convicted persons serve this sentence. In the theoretical part of the thesis at first the thesis, using the relevant literature, defines the basic terminology in the areas of criminal law, alternative sentences and restorative justice. The thesis further examines the concept of community service sentence, the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic, and institutions which themselves provide opportunities for servicing the community service sentence. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on institutions, at which the convicted persons serve the community service sentence. Using a questionnaire, it surveys their opinions, which it then interprets. In the conclusion it outlines the benefits of community service sentence from the perspective of these institutions.
