Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím kamerových systémů Policií České republiky. Teoretická část představuje strukturu Policie České republiky a její jednotlivé služby, rovněž popisuje různé typy kamerových systémů při jejich použití v praxi. Na závěr teoretické části je provedeno porovnání právních rámců týkajících se využití kamerových systémů v České republice. V praktické části jsou analyzovány možnosti využití kamerových systémů při odhalování a šetření trestné činnosti. Dále je provedena analýza rizik spojených s procesem pořizování kamerového záznamu a je prezentována případová studie.
K podpoře řešení diplomové práce byly použity metody, jako je srovnávání, pozorování, analýza případů, modelování a panelová diskuse. Po provedení analýzy různých typů kamerových systémů a s ohledem na možná rizika provozování těchto systémů byl navržen plán modernizace a úpravy kamerového dohlížecího systému Městské policie ve statutárním městě Prostějov.

The diploma thesis deals with the use of camera systems of the Police of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part presents the structure of the Police of the Czech Republic and its individual services, it also describes different types of camera systems when they are used in practice. At the end of the theoretical part, a comparison of the legal frameworks regarding the use of camera systems in the Czech Republic is made. In the practical part, the possibilities of using camera systems in the detection and investigation of criminal activity are analyzed. Furthermore, an analysis of the risks associated with the camera recording process is performed and a case study is presented. Methods such as comparison, observation, case analysis, modeling and panel discussion were used to support the thesis solution. After performing an analysis of various types of camera systems and taking into account the possible risks of operating these systems, a plan for the modernization and modification of the camera surveillance system of the Municipal Police in the statutory city of Prostějov was proposed.
