Tato práce je zamyšlením nad postavením současné rodiny ve společnosti vzhledem k právním a ekonomickým podmínkám. V práci je rozpracována současná úprava rodinného práva, zejména zákon o rodině. Dále je nemalá část věnována důležitosti sociálních dávek a dalších forem finančních podpor rodin ve veřejném sektoru.

This thesis is an evaluation of a position of contemporary family in our society in respekt to the legal and economic conditions. It contains an elaboration on contemporary family law, especiely act on families. Large part of the thesis is devoted to the importance of social security benefits and other forms of financial backing of families in public sector.
