Bakalářská práce srovnává ošetřovatelskou péči v zařízeních pro seniory v Anglii a Česku a zároveň seznamuje čtenáře s problematikou hlavních rozdílů. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá osobností seniora, změnami v procesu stárnutí, specifikuje úlohy sestry v péči o seniora a vymezuje hlavní rozdíly péče dvou evropských zemí. Praktická část je založena na dotazníku, který zjišťuje spokojenost a informovanost 20 seniorů v každém zařízení. Dále potom interview s hlavním vedoucím zařízení, jehož cílem je specifikovat rozdíly v chodu zařízení. Závěrem práce je vyhodnocení, interpretace a prezentace výsledků šetření.
Annotation in English
This bachelor thesis compares nursing care in Czech and English facilities for the elderly and concurrently introduces readers to issues of the main differences. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with seniors? personalities and changes in the aging process. It also specifies the nurse?s role in the care of the elderly and outlines the main differences in this type of care in these two European countries. The empirical part is based on a questionnaire survey of twenty seniors in each facility that reveals their satisfaction and their level of awareness with respect to the quality of care. It also contains interviews with facility managers in both countries. The aim of the interview is to specify differences in operation of facilities. The final part of this work presents, interprets and evaluates results of the survey.
