Práce se zabývá problematikou ochranné bariérové funkce kůže, účinky D-panthenolu a jeho využití v kosmetice. Pozornost byla věnována zejména výzkumu účinků polotuhých forem ? krémů ? s obsahem D-panthenolu v různých koncentracích, na pokožku žen. Měření bariérové funkce kůže bylo realizováno in vivo pomocí instrumentálních metod. Ze získaných výsledků experimentální části práce, byl hodnocen vliv krémů na bariérovou funkci kůže jednotlivých probandů. Z provedeného experimentu vyplývá, že krémy s obsahem účinné látky D-panthenolu měly dostatečný hydratační účinek, významně omezovaly TEWL z pokožky a příznivě upravovaly její pH.

The work deals with the protective barrier function of the skin, the effects of D-panthenol and its use in cosmetics. Attention was paid to research on the effects of semisolid forms ? creams ? containing D-panthenol in various concentrations on the skin of women. Measurement of skin barrier function was performed in vivo using instrumental methods. The obtained results of the experimental work, the effect of an creams for the skin barrier function of probands. From the experiment shows that the creams containing the active substance D-panthenol had a sufficient moisturizing effect, significantly limited the TEWL of the skin and positively regulate the pH.
