Cílem bakalářské práce bylo charakterizovat netradiční druhy zeleniny, jako je např. kiwa-no, batáty, okra, rebarbora aj. Je zde popsán jejich původ, nároky na pěstování a jejich stručná charakteristika. Práce se zabývá jednotlivými druhy z hlediska jejich chemického složení a významných výživových látek. Samostatná kapitola je věnována gastronomické-mu a kulinářskému využití netradičních druhů zeleniny. Stručně byly charakterizovány
i jejich léčivé účinky.

The aim of this work was to characterize non-traditional species of vegetables, e.g. kiwano, sweet potatoes, okra, rhubarb etc. It describes their origin, demands of growing and their brief description. Subsequently, this work deals with particular species in terms of their chemical composition and significant nutrients. Finally, individual chapter describes their gastronomy and culinary use. Some of their healing effects were briefly characterized.
