Annotation Táto práca sa zaoberá štúdiou štruktúry, vlastnosťami, použitím a spracovaním polybuténu-1 (PB-1). Polybutén-1 je v podstate izotaktický polymér, ktorý sa radí medzi stereoregulárne polyolefíny a vykazuje polymorfné vlastnosti. Izotaktický polybutén-1 (iPB-1) kryštalizuje v troch rozdielnych kryštalografických modifikáciách. S svojou teplotou tanie a tuhosťou nachádza medzi vysoko hustotným a nízko hustotným polyetylénom a tepelnou stabilitou medzi polyetylénom a polypropylénom. Rovnako má potenciál širokého použitia, a to vďaka odolnosti voči chemikáliám, odolnosti voči korózii za napätie a dobrým tokovým vlastnostiam. Vyrábajú sa z neho napríklad trubky, zásobníky pre chemikálie, obalové materiály, ďalej sa používa na obkladanie bazénov, alebo ako izolácia elektrických káblov.
Annotation in English This work is focused on literature study of structure, properties, applications and processing of polybutene-1 (PB-1). Polybutene-1 is basically isotactic polymer, which belongs between the stereoregular polyolefins and it has a polymorphic behavior. Isotactic polybutene-1 (iPB-1) crystallizes into the three different crystallographic modifications. The melting point and stiffness ranks iPB-1 between high-density and low-density polyethylenes, and thermal stability between polyethylene and polypropylene. It has potentially a wide range of applications, owing to its resistance against corrosion in strain and flow and good chemical resistance. For example, it is being used for tube materials, chemical reservoirs, facing basins, pack materials, coating of electrical wires and others.
