Práce je zaměřena na fyziologické vlastnosti kůže v období klimakteria. V návaznosti na fertilní období ženy a důležitost příslušných hormonů je charakterizováno klimakterium, jeho rozdělení, nejčastější symptomy a syndromy. Ze symptomů jsou zvláště zdůrazněny změny kůže a kožních adnex. Následně byly popsány možnosti kosmetické péče o stárnoucí kůži.

The thesis focuses on the physiological characteristics of the skin during menopause. The first part describes the fertile period of women and the importance of appropriate group of hormones. Further in the thesis there is detailed description of climacterium, description on how is climacterium assorted and the most frequent symptoms and syndromes following climacterium. From the symptoms are particularly highlighted changes in the skin and skin appendages. The last part suggests options for cosmetic care for an aging skin.
