Bakalářská práce se zabývá pojetím dítěte, jeho právy a jejich zakotvením v Úmluvě o právech dítěte. Charakterizuje základní principy Úmluvy a její význam pro postavení dítěte ve společnosti. Stručně popisuje vybrané oblasti porušování dětských práv, syndrom CAN, šikanu, sexuální zneužívání dětí a zabývá se jejich příčinami.

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the concept of the child, children´s rights and their embodiment in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The thesis characterizes fundamental principles of the Convention and its importance for the position of the child in the society. It briefly describes selected spheres of children's rights breach like CAN syndrome, vexation, sexual abuse and deals with their causes.
