Tato práce se svým tématem soustředí na problematiku budoucnosti kohezní politiky Evropské unie. Část teoretická ve svých jednotlivých bodech popisuje především důvody tvorby kohezní politiky a její smysl, a také hlavní cíle této práce, které se dané problematiky týkají, jakožto i použité metody. Dále kromě přehledu dotčené odborné literatury a argumentů jejího výběru je zde čtenář seznámen rovněž s výčtem příslušné související legislativy. Část praktická se v několika bodech věnuje nejdříve popisu samotného vývoje kohezní politiky Evropské unie v jednotlivých jejích etapách, a dále se pak soustředí na objasnění jejího přínosu na regiony NUTS 2 v České republice ve vymezeném období. Poslední úsek praktické části je věnován formulaci návrhů a opatření z hlediska budoucí podoby kohezní politiky Evropské unie.

This work focuses on problematics of the future cohesive politics of the European Union. The theoretical part describes in each article the reasons for creating the cohesive politics and its import and also the main purpose of this work, which is related to this problematics and also its used methods. Besides the outline of the used academic literature and arguments for its choice, readers are introduced to a listing of legislation connected to this problematics. The practical part of this work focuses in few articles on the actual development of the European Union cohesive politics in particular periods and moreover it concentrates on clarifying it´s gain in NUTS 2 regions of the Czech Republic during the limited time period. The last part of the practical part is devoted to the formulation of proposals and precautions in the terms of the future form of European Union cohesive politics.
