Annotation	Práce se zabývá možnými problémy při překládání zvířecích idiomů z angličtiny do češtiny. Teoretická část zahrnuje obecnou charakteristiku idiomů a jejich členění, popisuje jejich strukturu a gramatiku. Praktická část sestává z anglicko-českého slovníčku a srovnání anglických a českých idiomů nalezených v románech a povídkách.
Annotation in English	This thesis deals with possible problems with translating idioms containing names of animals from English to Czech. Theoretical part contains idiom characteristics, their classification, describes their structure and grammar. Practical part is composed of English-Czech glossary and comparison of English and Czech idioms found in novels and short stories.
