Práce se zabývá historií a vývojem plastické a estetické chirurgie. První část se zaměřuje na vztah člověka k pochutinám, na stručný popis tukové tkáně, stádia celulitidy, tukových buněk a podkoţního tuku. Dále jsou zde popsány techniky invazivní a neinvazivní liposukce, jejich typy včetně ošetření a kontraindikace.

The first part focuses on man's relationship to meal, a brief description of the fatty tissue, adipose cells stage, cellulitis and subcutaneous fat. In addition, there are non-invasive and invasive techniques described liposuction, their types, including treatment and contra-indications.
