Předkládaná bakalářská práce zkoumá mezigenerační pohled Romů na umírání a smrt.
V práci se zabýváme zvyky a tradicemi Romů, které jsou spojené s umíráním a smrtí. V teoretické části práce vycházíme z teoretických východisek kultury Romů, multikulturní výchovy a multikulturní andragogiky. Vycházíme z hledisek thanatologie a vnímání procesu umírání a smrti. V empirické části práce se koncentrujeme na specifika romských tradic spojených s touto problematikou. Dále se zabýváme otázkou, jak víra ovlivňuje samotné umírání a pohřbívání. Zjištěná data nám mohou posloužit pro vzdělávání v oblasti pomáhajících profesí a samotném pochopení prožívání Romů při ztrátě jejich blízké osoby. Výsledky reflektují i možnosti pomoci Romům v době truchlení a vyrovnávání se ze ztrátou blízkého člověka.

This bachelor thesis examines the intergenerational view of Roma on dying and death. In work, we deal with the traditions and customs of the Roma, which are related to dying and death. In the theoretical part of the thesis we draw on the theoretical foundations of Roma culture, multicultural education and multicultural andragogy. We start from the aspects of theatrology and perception of the process of dying and death. In the empirical part of the thesis we concentrate on the specifics of Roma traditions associated with this issue. We also address the question of how belief affects dying and burying itself. The data we gain can serve us for training in helping professions and the very understanding of the experience of the Roma in the loss of their close person. The results also reflect the possibility of helping the Roma at a time of mourning and of getting over from the loss of
a close person.
