Práce postihuje problematiku dětských práv, jejich realizaci, naplňování a dodržování v ČR. Vycházím z historie lidských práv, mezinárodních i vnitrostátních právních dokumentů a zpráv vládních i nevládních organizací.
Předně se zabývám současným stavem právního vědomí české společnosti, týkající se práv dětí, dále vzděláváním, osvětovou činností a nápravou nedostatků v oblasti práv dítěte.

This thesis deals with questions of children’s rights after the Czech Republic has joined to the European Union.
I describe current posture of law-cognizance of the Czech society respecting the rights of children. The aim of my work is also both observance and implementation of children’s rights and also education and enlightenment’s activities. I take next into consideration of improvement of deficiencies connected with children’s rights.
