Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice koncepce Smart Cities a implementaci
integrační platformy jako efektivního nástroje při řešení specifických výzev a problémů, které mohou při realizaci nastat. Velká část Smart City projektů se zaměřuje a řeší jednotlivé oblasti separátně, přičemž integrační platforma dokáže propojením jednotlivých technologií zajistit efektivní řešení pro správu napříč celým městem z jednoho místa. Pro seznámení s integrační platformou a problematikou koncepce Smart Cities je v rámci diplomové práce popsán koncept Průmysl 4.0 obsahující prvky, na kterých je integrační platforma postavena a s nimiž také pracuje. Následuje obecné seznámení s problematikou Smart Cities koncepce a příklady vybraných úspěšných projektů. V praktické části je představen celý proces implementace platformy v městě Preveza. Od zmapování strategických cílů, příslušných opatření a současného stavu ve městě a okolí až po rozdělení do prioritních Smart City oblastí a vytvoření pilotní verze integrační platformy, která se zaobírá všemi vytyčenými cíli. Výstup práce je doplněný o časovou, rizikovou a nákladovou analýzu.

This thesis focuses on the Smart Cities concept and the use of the integration platform as an effective tool for solving specific challenges that may arise in building a Smart City. While a large number of projects focus and address each area separately, an integration platform can provide an effective management solution across the entire city from a single web by connecting individual technologies. To introduce the integration platform and the issues surrounding the Smart Cities concept, the thesis describes the Industry 4.0 concept, which includes the elements on which the integration platform is based and works with. This is followed by a general introduction to the Smart Cities concept and examples of some successful projects. In the practical part, the whole process of implementing the platform in a selected city is presented. Starting from the mapping of the strategic objectives, the relevant measures and the current situation in the city and its surroundings to the division into priority
Smart City areas and the creation of a pilot version of the integration platform that addresses all the set objectives. The output of the work is complemented by time, risk and cost analysis.
