Bakalářská práce na téma "Úloha sestry při podpoře a upevňování zdravé dutiny ústní u seniorů" je složena z části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií dutiny ústní, vybranými onemocněními a jejich prevencí. Dále je práce zaměřena na prostředky péče o dutinu ústní a ošetřovatelskou péči. Praktická část přináší výsledky dotazníkového šetření ošetřujícího personálu na interních odděleních, oddělení geriatrie a domova pro seniory. Cílem průzkumu bylo zjistit úroveň ošetřovatelské péče o dutinu ústní u seniorů.

Thesis on "Role of Nurses in the Promotion of Oral Health in the Elderly" consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the oral cavity, selected diseases and their prevention. Thesis is focused on the means of oral care and nursing care. The practical part presents the results of a survey of the nursing staff to internal departments, geriatric department and home for enderly. The aim of the survey was to determine the level of nursing care of the oral cavity by Senioers.
