Téma mé diplomové práce je ?Vybrané aspekty dopravní infrastruktury obce s rozšířenou působností Vsetín?. Cílem práce je analýza a definování problémů v dopravní infrastruktuře ve městě Vsetín a ve správním území města Vsetína jako obce s rozšířenou působností. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní druhy dopravní infrastruktury a její členění, dále je specifikována působnost orgánů v oblasti dopravy a možnosti financování obnovy a výstavby dopravních sítí.
Praktická část konkretizuje aktuální stav dopravní sítě a dopravní infrastruktury ve městě Vsetín a ve správním území města Vsetína jako obce s rozšířenou působností. Součástí práce je SWOT analýza a v závěru jsou uvedeny návrhy řešení v oblasti dopravy, které přispějí k rozvoji města a regionu.

The theme of this thesis is ?The Traffic Infrastructure Chosen Aspects of the Municipality with Extended Competence of Vsetin?. The aim of my work is to analyse and define the problems in the traffic infrastructure in the town of Vsetin as the administrative territory of the Vsetin municipality with extended competence. In the theoretical part there are defined the basic kinds of the traffic infrastructure and its zoning then there is specified the compe-tence of traffic bodies and possibilities to finance the renewal and construction of roads and road networks.
The practical part is more specific about the up-to-now state of the traffic network and traf-fic infrastructure in the Vsetin administrative territory as the municipality with extended competence. As a part of my thesis there is included the SWOT analysis and at the very end there are described suggestions how to solve the problems in the sphere of transport that should contribute to the development of the town and region.
