Diplomová práce na téma Možné využítí brownfields ve Zlínském kraji je rozdělena na dvě základní části. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu brownfields, jejich typové rozdělení a bariéry vzniku těchto objektů. Další řešená teoretická problematika je řešena ve spojitosti s regenerací brownfields, možnostmi financování a poskytovanou podporou brownfields. V praktické části je uvedena Národní strategie regenerace brownfieldů a následně analýza Zlínského kraje. Na základě vybraných charakteristik brownfields ve Zlínském kraji pak byl určen investiční potenciál jednotlivých lokalit. Výstupem diplomové práce je projekt ekonomického využití průmyslového areálu Tesly v Rožnově pod Radhoštěm a jeho ekonomické zhodnocení.

Thesis on the possible use of brownfields in the Zlín Region is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of brownfields, their type and distribution barriers of these buildings. Another solution to the theoretical issues are addressed in connection with the regeneration of brownfield sites, funding opportunities and providing support to brownfields. The practical part includes the National Brownfield Regeneration Strategy and subsequent analysis of the Zlín Region. On the basis of selected characteristics of brownfields in the Zlin region was then determined by the investment potential of individual sites. The outcome of the thesis project is an economic recovery in the industrial area of Tesla Rožnov and economic evaluation.
